DIY Shop Website Kit
A proper one-page site for a local shop.
Copy, structure, a launch checklist, and a finished sample — written for a plumber, electrician, HVAC tech, or any trade that still answers the phone. Publish this week on Carrd or Google Sites.
Pay $39 on PayPal to hello@fairbanksdesigns.com — request an invoice, or send money as Goods and Services. Then email that same address with the name on the PayPal payment. The zip goes out from hello@.
Who it is for
An owner who already does the work and needs a page that looks like a shop, not a flyer. You will replace three names — shop, trade, town — and publish. No monthly kit fee. No login from Fairbanks Designs.
It is a fit if
You serve a real town, you answer a real phone, and you would rather paste finished sentences than hire a designer this month.
It is not a fit if
You need original photography, several pages, or the studio to build the site for you. That is custom work, sold separately.
What is in the kit
Five files. Nothing extra to ignore. Open them in order and the page can be live the same day you pay.
Preview the sample one-pager — cream, forest, and gold, marked as a Fairbanks Designs SAMPLE.
- README.md What you received and the order to use it. Written for the person who will actually publish the page.
- copy-blocks.md Ready-to-paste copy for a local service shop. Brackets mark [Shop Name], [Trade], and [Town]. Full sentences for hero, services, towns, about, why us, and contact.
- page-structure.md Phone-first section order. The number stays high. Services come before biography. Desktop uses the same story.
- launch-checklist.md Steps to publish on Carrd or Google Sites, plus a path if you upload the sample HTML yourself.
- sample-one-pager.html A polished single-file page in cream, forest green, and gold. Marked as a Fairbanks Designs SAMPLE so it is never mistaken for a live shop.
